Job description
- Develop and lead company’s global compliance programs
- Support and maintain strong corporate governance across the COP Group
- Support group and subsidiary directors and officers as they execute their obligations and duties
- Develop and maintain processes for ensuring high quality corporate governance
- Maintain appropriate records for compliance purposes
- Understand local compliance regulations and operationalize the requirements
- Prepare, implement, and execute polices to ensure and document that the company is compliant
- Conduct assessments as the Organization enters new markets
- Develop and maintain a risk assessment and mitigation program
- Maintain company’s insurances
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business Administration or relevant field
- At least (3) three years of experience as a Compliance professional
- Proven experience in in reviewing and understanding regulatory requirements
- Hands on experience with developing and maintaining a compliance program.
- Solid commercial background, used to a close dialogue with various stakeholders, including advisors, management & regulatory authorities
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
- Team player with a sense of exceptionally good customer service
- Competent at working across multiple international jurisdictions
- Responsibility and perseverance skills
- Structured and detail-oriented approach
