Adecco is currently seeking on behalf of its client, a banking organization, for five (5) dynamic professionals to cover the following position:
Junior Analyst_Financial Institutions/KYC (1-year contract)
The Analyst is responsible for carrying out the KYC analysis on potential new relationships with Financial Institutions (i.e. Banks, Brokers), recurring reviews and event driven reviews.
Job description

•    Ensuring completeness of the information provided by the Relationship Manager (RM) / Counterparty
•    Conducting additional research for information in available tools and public sources
•    Informing the RM about additional information or documentation required to complete Customer Due Diligence (CDD) controls
•    Independently verifying the true and correct nature of information provided by the RM or the counterparty
•    Performing required CDD enquires and the screening of the Counterparty and its related parties
•    Analyzing data and escalating identified risks
•    Completing the KYC file of the Counterparty
•    Registration and update of the Counterparty / Customer database 
•    Producing relevant ad-hoc reporting
Candidate profile

•    Holder of bachelor’s degree
•    Fluency in Greek & English, written & oral
•    High ethical standards and integrity
•    Previous KYC and banking experience is an advantage, in particular in Financial Institutions 
•    Knowledge of AML laws and regulations relative to money laundering and terrorist financing and the ability to apply this knowledge in assessing KYC profiles, is an         advantage
•    Understanding of data protection and confidentiality standards
•    Experience in researching and conducting due diligence (i.e. understanding of business models, industries, corporate structures, beneficial ownership, Wolfsberg  CBDDQ), is an advantage
•    In depth knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft products such as PowerPoint and Word
