Adecco is currently seeking, on behalf of its client, a leading multinational technology company in the automation and control industry for a dynamic professional to cover the following position based in Athens:
Tender Engineer
Job Description
•Analyze customer requests and convert them into a technical proposal and commercial offer
•Prepare the budget and the technical specifications of the offered equipment
•Work closely with other sales team members
•Work closely with other quotation centers in the group
•Communicate directly with the customer
•Follow up the proposal
•Contribute to negotiation and conclusion of the proposal
•Detect technical and contractual risks
•Coordinate and reassure the timely submission of offers
•Respect the internal offer approval process
•Accurate costing managing the hand-over to execution the customers’ needs
Candidate Profile
•Electrical Engineering Degree from a University or a Technological Institution, preferably with specialization in Energy or Electrical Engineering)
•At least two (2) years of relevant working experience preferably in offer creation and project management or a solutions-oriented projects environment
•Strong MV & LV Electrical Switchgear knowledge
•Knowledge of electrical design (electrical design software competency will be highly appreciated
•Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English language (verbal and written)
•Advanced PC skills and very good knowledge of MS Office
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•Strong collaboration and team-working skills
•Analytical thinking
•Achievement drive and results orientation
•Ability to influence and convince
•Autonomy operation and high degree of initiative
