Information Display Presales Engineer
Job description
- Provide technical support/installation support and resolve field issues
- Provide project management support during implementation and installation
- Provide product training session to salespeople and partners
- Engage with both internal and external stakeholders such as the Service team, clients, installers, and etc. to answer technical enquiries and to resolve technical issues
- Develop local Sales and partners who can provide design, structure, installation, and maintenance/services
- Fully understand technically all company’s business solutions product range ensuring a high level of product knowledge in terms of features, benefits and technical capabilities
- Fully understand all relevant company’s Corporate business and business solutions product strategies
- Provide accurate and detailed technical product solutions based upon existing and potential customer requirements
- Achieve agreed levels of day to day performance including training, technical advising and customer interaction and development
Candidate Profile
- BS in Engineering
- At least 5+ years of experience in IT, AV, Hotel Infotainment systems, Signage, LED or related industries
- Strong relevant experience and knowledge of ID technology and related engineering. Previous experience in providing design, technical, and electric work-related consultancy services is preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD drawings
- Knowledge of software applications is desirable as is a high proficiency in the use of Microsoft office applications, specifically Excel
- Self-motivated, able to work with little or no supervision and direction with a fully flexible approach to the work
- Excellent problem solving skills, able to effectively manage quite complex tasks & cross functional teams and meet tight deadlines
- Highly organized and able to multitask, coupled with strong analytical ability and attention to details
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
