Health Claims Support Employee
Job Description
Handle directly the communication with Customers, Insurance Agents and Bank Employees for all their issues related to claims
Your main responsibilities will include: 
• Handle incoming & outbound communication with customers regarding their claim or the coverages of their policy 
• Support Insurance Agents and Bank employees for claims requests status or coverages including in the policy 
• Follow-up on customers’ requests which are not immediately resolved 
• Handle the communication regarding the pending documents requested either from Mednet or pre-existing department in order to speed up the claims process 
• Produce reports concerning the incoming business flow and results from communication with client 
• Follow up with the Sales network in order to provide feedback from client 
• Propose solutions and achieve high rate on first call resolution 
• Handle incoming written communication with the customers 
• Support complaints department on incoming complaints and give the necessary feedback
• Handle the incoming communication of the EB claims (only for the part handled in house for the Piraeus Bank group policy) 
• Track claims cycle time and KPI’s required
Candidate Profile
Previous experience within customer service at least 2-3 years (e.g. call centre representative, customer service desk, phone sales) 
• Previous experience related to claims area 
• Very good knowledge of the products and existing processes 
• Very good knowledge of English, both verbal and written 
• Computer literacy 
• University degree preferably in Insurance or Nursing 
• Strong interest in medical information and risk management 
• Knowledge of Medical Conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills & Positive attitude 
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and Sales Network oral or written 
• Ability to resolve conflicts and handle arguments 
• Customer centricity 
• Ability to work under pressure 
• Attention to details 
• Easy and fast learner 
• Ability to work in shifts 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multitasking priorities 
• Ability to propose alternatives
