a leading luxury travel company in Greece for a dynamic professional to cover the following position based in Athens:
Senior Travel Specialist
Job Description
•Communicate with potential guests for incoming requests to convert them in sales opportunities
•Develop a deep relationship with clients to assess their needs, budget, and preferences suggesting suitable travel packages.
•Prepare quotations for travel packages (itinerary creation and revision)
•Organize travels from beginning to end: book hotels, tours & activities, and transfers; issue tickets (across many countries as destinations offered) and provide top-rated customer service during clients’ trip.
Candidate Profile
•Bachelor’s degree and/or M.Sc. in Business, Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, or similar relevant field
•Minimum three (3) years of relevant working experience in designing and executing trips, ideally for high-end guests
•Excellent command of English language (multilingualism will be considered a plus)
•Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
•Solid knowledge of computer reservations systems & GDS systems (i.e. FORTHcrs, Amadeus, Olympic Air platforms, Webhotelier)
•Strong communication and negotiation skills
•Customer oriented mindset / capacity to deliver outstanding services that surpass clients' expectations
•Ability to influence and convince in a target-driven environment
•Good organizational and time-management skills
•Strong collaboration and team-working skills with positive attitude
•Achievement drive and results orientation
•Flexibility in working on (2) two shift basis (during weekdays)
