Adecco is currently seeking, on behalf of its client, a leading Greek company in Industrial sector, for a dynamic professional to cover the following position:
Chief Financial Officer - Thessalia
Job Description
• Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team.
• Assisting in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives.
• Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting.
• Monitoring and directing the implementation of strategic business plans
• Developing financial and tax strategies
• Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with the law and company’s policy
• Preparing reliable current and forecasting reports
• Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO/president and members of the executive management team
• Management of the Finance Department (Controlling, Credit Control, IT)
• Development of corporate financial strategies.
• Setting up annual Business Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting
• Managing monthly Financial & Accounting reports, P&L, balance sheet, cash flows
• Implementation and execution of group level optimization programs related to working
Candidate Profile
• Experience as a Financial manager in Accounting Department for at least 10 years.
• Has managed a team of at least 7 members.
• Degree in in Accounting, Business administration, Finance or a related field.
• Fluency in Greek and English is a prerequisite.
• Excellent time management, planning and organization skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
• Leadership Skills– comfortable in managing multiple teams working collectively toward a single goal
• Problem solving skills
