Adecco is currently seeking, on behalf of its client, a leading global professional services organization for a professional to cover the following position based in Malta:
Senior Business Consultant-Risk
The job holder will support company’s clients in understanding and identifying process risks and designing and assessing process controls to mitigate those risks. He/she will be responsible for leading engagement teams and supporting clients on matters that will drive enhanced business performance. This will mean working hand-in-hand with client teams and members of company’s team. He/she will be responsible for documenting process controls, assessing control design, designing and executing procedures to test key controls and writing reports to summarize observations. He/she will also provide process improvement recommendations to design efficient and effective process controls to best mitigate process risks.
Job Description
•Understand and apply fundamental risk management and internal auditing principles
•Support the planning, conduct fieldwork, manage performance, and keep engagement leaders updated on engagements;
•Analyse and document business, financial and technical processes;
•Present recommendations to address risks or weaknesses identified during the respective client engagements contributing towards enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the clients’ internal control systems;
•Research industry leading practices related to governance, risk, and compliance
•Advise clients to understand and manage business risks and verify the validity of business information.
Candidate Profile
•A recognized University Degree in accounting, insurance, banking, business, information technology or other relevant discipline.
•At least two (2) years of working experience, preferably in a professional services environment, consulting or industry.
•Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in the insurance sector will be considered an asset.
•Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills.
•Integrity, a willingness to learn and an excellent work ethic
