Senior Developers (Thessaloniki Based/ Remote)
Job Description
• Work as part of a team to develop web and mobile apps to transform IoT and telemetry data into intuitive applications.
• Design, test, maintain and implement new features both for the application tier using and implementing REST APIs and the UI written in Angular. Participate in agile processes using Azure DevOps.
• Keep up to date with respect to the technology landscape and contribute in the application’s optimization and lifecycle, from concept to deployment
• Determine project scope and specifications by gathering user, system, and functional requirements. Understand and analyze dependencies and design software around those needs.
• Analyze application utilisation and load to recommend hardware and software specifications.
• Create and follow development plan, provide timelines, and adhere to a timeline prior to beginning the development process.
• Perform continuous testing and ensure quality assurance throughout the development life cycle.
• Perform system administration on web server hardware and software.
• Provide support for developed applications and licensed software.
• Collaborate with other developers to create standards and document processes.
• Work with Consultants/Implementors to document Installation and Admin Guides
• Limited travel may be required for visiting customer sites (Greece only)
Candidate Profile
• BSc in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering or other related discipline
• Good understanding of software design patterns and best practices
• Good knowledge of databases (Postgres and MongoDB preferred)
• Experience in developing responsive visual experiences using HTML5, CSS3, JS and JQuery
• Experience on working with geospatial data/GIS will be considered a plus
• Strong (3+ years) experience in Angular 2+ framework and Node.js with documented work history
• Strong experience in State Management (NgRx - Redux) and RxJS
• Strong experience in TypeScript
• Experience in RESTful APIs using NodeJS (ORM preferred)
