Job Description
• Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and administration of production IT infrastructure
• Manage and maintain our cloud-based infrastructure
• Oversee the maintenance, configuration and administration of networking infrastructure including switches, firewalls
• Create and maintain documentation of systems processes and procedures
• Assist IT Operations management in defining procurement budgets for IT and infrastructure projects
• Troubleshoot and remediate issues across the infrastructure and create plans to prevent the same problem in the future
Candidate Profile
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux/Microsoft based environments/databases.
• Solid Cloud experience, preferably in IaaS, AWS.
• Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware Log Insight, AHV)
• Experience with monitoring systems
• Experience with automation software (e.g., vRealize)
• Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
• Experience on Networking design and operation
• Advanced use of English language (both oral and written)
• Proven organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform under pressure and remain optimistic
