Assistant Accountant

Adecco is currently seeking, on behalf of its client, a well-known construction company, for a dynamic professional to cover the following position:
Assistant Accountant
Job Description
• Ensures all payables are supported by the required documentation
• Executes payments through banks and will be responsible for daily bank reconciliation
• Participates in monthly closing activities, according to the company’s timeframes
• Assists with day-to-day operations of the Accounting department
• Checks the balance agreements with suppliers
• Conducts payroll preparation
Candidate Profile
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Economics
• At least two (2) years of related experience, preferably in a similar company
• Excellent knowledge in both written and verbal English
• Excellent use of Windows, MS-Office (outlook, word, excel)
• Familiarity with ERP software. Experience with Entersoft Business Suite
would be a plus
• Good Knowledge of Taxation, Income, VAT, etc.
• Knowledge of a Payroll System and experience in the information system of the Hellenic Ministry of labor, social security and Welfare (ERGANI), will be considered a strong plus
