Adecco HR is the global leader in HR services, certified in Greece with ISO 9001:2015 in the field of search and selection services and temporary placement. Adecco is currently seeking, on behalf of its client, a multinational company, a dynamic professional to cover the following position:
Senior (Implementation) Consultant ( Remote work )
Candidate Profile
• A degree in Computer Science or related field preferably (MSc will be considered an advantage)
• Minimum 6 years hands-on technical (delivery or consulting) experience in banking, payments, and financial services industry
• Minimum 2 years’ experience of leading technical teams
• Minimum 2 years’ experience of project management
• Experience in WAY4 product suite will be considered an advantage
• Experience in any market leading CMS & Switching system is desired
• Strong knowledge in PL/SQL (code writing, debugging) and database programming (Oracle is preferred)
• Strong business knowledge of international payment schemes is required
• Knowledge of software lifecycle, design, development, and QA
• Technical understanding of Unix-like systems and networks
• Java or C/C++ knowledge will be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of key Oracle database concepts including architecture awareness
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate business and technical ideas clearly effectively and convincingly
• Willingness to travel outside of home country to conduct business
Job Description
• Manage small “single-man” projects on their own
• Participate in and perform requirements analysis
• Create project estimates for low complexity requirements
• Develop custom components of WAY4 using PL/SQL
• Participate during full life cycle of implementation projects for configuring client requirements
• Perform quality assurance based on the needs of the project
• Deliver WAY4 software/components to customers based on project objectives
• Support WAY4 software installed at customers
