Senior Project Manager (Thessaloniki based)
Job description
• Management and implementation of international projects under Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe.
• Coordination of internal and external project teams, including the mentoring of junior staff members.
• Set up and participation in international project meetings to assess progress and plan further work.
• Collection and analysis of data to elaborate technical reports and present meaningful findings.
• Development of business models and plans to drive the commercial rollout of research results.
• Ideation and design of new projects along with the preparation of new proposals (Horizon Europe).
• Strategic planning and development of the company’s portfolio in the domains of your expertise.
Candidate Profile
• 5 years of experience in managing and implementing international projects (Horizon 2020).
• BSc in a field relevant to Business or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
• MSc in Business, Engineering, Informatics or another STEM field.
• Excellent communication and language skills (proficiency in oral and written English as well as competence in expressing complex ideas in writing are a must, knowledge of French or German is a plus).
• Reasoning skills (e.g. top percentile scores on aptitude tests, such as GMAT / GRE are a very strong asset).
• Multi-tasking abilities and a consultant mindset (e.g. being able to manage time and work across different tasks and domains under demanding deadlines, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn).
• International outlook and ambition (e.g. experience with living/working/studying abroad, experience with multi-national teams and openness towards travelling abroad).
• Soft and social skills (e.g. meetings and networking with partners and clients, communication and presentation skills, ability to work in diverse teams).
• Experience in the process of preparing Horizon 2020 research proposals will be considered as a plus.
