Adecco is currently seeking, on behalf of its client, a leading Greek manufacturing industry in the sector of Biofuels and Renewables with international exposure and in a dynamic expansion phase, for a professional to cover the following position:
Sustainability, Planning and Projects Specialist
Job Description
•Responsible for the traceability of biofuels transactions, and a privileged interlocutor of the group and external counterparties on topics related to the European Renewable Energy Directive (RED)
•Monitor regulatory developments in European certification schemes and other global legislation on biofuels and identify the potential impact on trading activities
•Monitor all activities relevant to the mass balance system
•Plan, coordinate and monitor the monthly sales schedule
•Coordinate new projects and working group of Managers from various departments
Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree or MSc in engineering
•Three (3) years to four (4) of working experience in the Renewable Energy sources sector as office based Project Coordinator
within a corporate working environment
• Proven track record in Licensing activity will be highly appreciated
• Familiarity with attending seminars and reading Legislation related to Sustainability systems (in both Greek and English language) will be considered as an asset
• Excellent command of the Greek and the English language.
• Proficiency in the usage of all MS Office applications (especially Excel)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances
• Problem solving ability with strong attention to detail
• A team player, with a positive can-do attitude
•Self-discipline and organization ability to work on own initiative in a corporate, fast-paced environment
