Adecco is currently seeking, on behalf of its client, an international well-known biopharmaceutical company for a dynamic professional to cover the following position:
Senior Accountant
(Short Term Contract)
Job Description
• Coordination and preparation of all relevant accounting processes for the new entity, conducting alternative scenarios and tests (General Ledger Accounting, Intercompany Accounting, Group and External Reporting, Enterprise Consolidation, Cost Accounting, Fixed Assets)
• Manage the overall Close Reporting Process for the allocated entities, with strong working knowledge of the Group eClose tool to manage
• Cultivate partnerships with stakeholders
• Coordinate and support Fixed Assets accounting and reporting requirements;
• Contact point for External Auditors in the allocated Country
• Create, understand and apply best practices from within SBS or external best-in-class service organizations
• Ensure that Compliance and Internal Control/ SOX standards are met and ensure the local regulation adherence (i.e. GDPR)
• Preparation of the various financial statements
Candidate Profile
• Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting
• At least three (3) years of experience in a similar position, ideally in a multinational company
• Excellent systems skills/experience (including SAP)
• Very good understanding of Finance processes (including IFRS)
• Good communication and results-orientation
• Fluent in English
