Adecco is currently seeking, on behalf of its client, a multinational company in the FMCG sector, for a dynamic professional to cover the following position:

Junior Desk Support Engineer 

Job Description

•    Provides second level support to end-users (Clients) for PC hardware and standard software related incidents Tracks product codes (activation / deactivation)
•    Executes the task assigned by the Service Request system in order to provide the service requested by clients 
•    Performs hardware installation and test of new equipment and software products
•    Ensures smooth and secure functioning of existing IT infrastructure systems by performing operational and system management tasks under the supervision of a back-office responsible
•    Maintains IT security procedures in accordance with the company’s guidelines and internal/external audit recommendations
•    Supports the Technology Services Manager in delivering end-users exploitation and training initiatives on IT tools
•    Provides all documentation and descriptions required for raising small items purchase order and Follow-up with the IT Service Request Manager
Candidate Profile
•    Experience in a similar position will be appreciated
•    University Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science
•    PC literate
•    Excellent command of MS Excel 
•    Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 Operating System
•    Literate in Microsoft Office 365 systems
•    Knowledge of Collaboration Tools, Microsoft Teams, Yammer, Video Conference systems
•    Good Understanding of Servers, Wifi / LAN network, IP principle
•    Advanced use of English language (both oral and written)
•    Proven organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•    Ability to perform some activities offside normal business hours on an Ad-hoc basis
