Operations Assistant - ICT

Job description 

The Operations assistant-ICT works under the supervision of the Greek authorities (Special Secretariat for the Protection of Unaccompanied Minors, hereinafter SSPUAM) in performing some or all of the following tasks:

•    Support to identify technologies and automate processes related to the Relocation of unaccompanied and vulnerable children from Greece to other EU Member States (hereinafter, Relocation Exercise);
•    Support on establishing tools and identifying technologies on data storage and data analysis to automate processes as defined in a monitoring plan;
•    Support in software development and development of applications; 
•    Support to identify solutions in connecting and receiving information from different systems based on national standards;
•    Support to assess ICT needs among different actors involved in the Relocation Exercise;
•    Provide daily support and troubleshooting to users related to the use of systems and tools;
•    Provide direct operational support to the appointed local supervisor in different ICT-relevant tasks of the day-to-day running of the operation;
•    Compile daily and weekly statistics and reports and provide inputs for briefing requests, state of play of the operations; 
•    Participate in internal and external meetings, as requested;
•    Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, as requested;
•    Participate in trainings organized by EASO or other stakeholders, locally or in other locations, when requested;
•    Provide to EASO regular analytical and statistical reports of provided services and challenges;
•    Draft documents, templates, minutes and reports;
•    Manage documents; 
•    Perform any other tasks in the interest of the service, relevant for the specific profile.

Candidates Profile

•    University degree – preferred and advantageous;
•    Sound demonstrated previous experience in relevant tasks, is required; Experience in relevant tasks at headquarters level is preferred and advantageous;
•    Fluency in English and Greek (oral and written);
•    Very good intercultural/interdisciplinary communication skills;
•    Excellent organizational and analytical skills;
•    Ability to work in a multicultural environment and under pressure.
