Adecco, on behalf of Cedefop, the European Center for the Development of Vocational Training, one of the EU’s decentralized agencies, based in Thessaloniki Greece, is seeking to recruit a highly driven candidate for the following position: 

 
Assistant Web portal management 
 One-year contract

 

Cedefop is looking to secure the support of an interim agent for 12 months in the Department for Communication. The main activities of the Department are editing, translation, publication’s design and layout, printing and dissemination, press and public relations, Web contact and content management and research support services. 
The interim agent will contribute to the work of the Web contact and content management services.

Job Description:

The interim agent will support and assist the Web portal manager in the execution of the tasks involved in the redesign of the new Web portal. The main duty covers the ongoing phases from development to implementation and fine-tuning of the new generation Web portal. 
The main tasks involve the following:

•    Support to the Web team in managing and operating the Web portal, CRM and related systems (Intranet, Web analytics tool, etc;);
•    Prepare, format, upload and update of information on the Web portal Content Management System (CMS); 
•    Prepare web-pages and edit documents for publication on the web
•    Provide the technical support and guidance to the CMS content editors in uploading, updating and embedding of information on the Web Portal’s CMS;
•    Follow up of order forms’ execution, as well as in the management and organisation of documents, internal communication, meetings, logistic needs using the JIRA ticketing systems and Livelink;
•    Assist in ensuring follow-up and respect of deadlines in the activities of the service;
•    Assist and support in the management and operation of the contact database management’s activities.

Candidate’s Profile:

•    Have a level of post-secondary education attested by a diploma covering the discipline of web publishing, online communications or information systems sciences. 
•    At least 2 years proven working experience and knowledge in web content management and contacts management systems
•    Very good working knowledge of web editing/publishing (Drupal), web analytics and CRM tools;
•    Ability to work independently under the pressure of a heavy workload and tight timescales;
•    Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team; 
•    Problem-solving, planning and basic project management skills;
•    Very good oral and written communication skills in English (C1).
•    Ability to edit English texts and prepare them for internal and external communications and web publishing;

Since March 2020 Cedefop has adopted a series of measures to protect the health and support the well-being of staff and other personnel in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. At the moment teleworking is mandatory, but as soon as the epidemiological situation allows it, on site operations will gradually resume.
