Interim Agent for ICT Service (1 year contract)

Adecco, on behalf of Cedefop, the European Center for the Development of Vocational Training, one of the EU’s decentralized agencies, based in Thessaloniki Greece, is seeking to recruit a highly driven candidate for the following position: 
ICT Service (Interim agent - 1-year contract)
 
The interim agent will work in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Service and will report to the ICT coordinator. The interim agent will work either in Cedefop’s premises in Thessaloniki or remotely from Athens.

The ICT service counts 5 staff and a part-time administrative assistant.
The role of the ICT department is to:

•    Design, implement and operate information systems and solutions required to enable and support operational and administrative activities of the Agency
•    Provide ICT infrastructure and support services (hardware, desktop and servers, software, network, telecommunications and expertise) to staff
•    Monitor, enhance and safeguard the security of network, servers, software and information systems of Cedefop, including those not under the immediate remit of IT unit (e.g. Web portal)
•    Provide advice on all ICT-related aspects of administrative and operational projects.

Job Description:

•    Support the introduction of SharePoint at Cedefop 
•    Assist in the administration of Microsoft Office 365, Windows, SharePoint and Teams 
•    Take over selected technical projects from the ICT members’ team and follow up 
•    Support the ICT service staff members with the day to day tasks 
•    Provide 2nd level technical support to the projects that will manage 
•    Keep detailed documentation for all the projects s/he is involved  

Candidate’s Profile:

•    A Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science or computer engineering  
•    At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of ICT  
•    Very good command of working English (C1) 
•    Experience in administration and management of:
  • Microsoft SharePoint 2013 (or later)  
  • Microsoft Windows Server (system administration 2008R2 or higher) 
  • Microsoft Windows Active Directory and Azure AD infrastructure  
  • Microsoft Office 365 administration  

•    Experience in analysing business needs and users’ requirements  
•    Client centric and customer oriented  
•    Knowledge of SQL databases will be considered an asset
•    MCSE and other relevant certifications will be considered a plus
•    Experience in Linux - Apache Web servers – LAMP will be considered a plus
