“Experience Work Day” is part of the CEO for One Month program. The program aims to ease young people’ transition from education into the world of work and to improve their employability.

For one more year, with the #ExperienceWorkDay that was held on October 17th, Adecco Group gave the opportunity to young candidates who are now doing their first steps in the labor market to live a highly rewarding experience in the workplace and receive valuable guidance.

The young candidates visited the Adecco Group offices in Greece and had the opportunity to get to know the daily job of the Adecco Group’s executives and to see the operation of different departments of the organization. The “Experience Work Day” initiative is part of the CEO for One Month program, which aims to support young people to gain useful experience and skills that will help them make the transition from education to the world of work.

On October 17, the Adecco Group opened its offices to young people, introduced them to the profession they were interested in, and then offered them valuable professional guidance.

During the Experience Work Day participants had the opportunity to “shadow” Adecco Group employees in the Human Resources, Sales, Marketing, IT, Accounting and Payroll departments. At the same time, they learned about the skills and traits that employers are looking for from job seekers, and received tips for an effective job search. They attended an interactive workshop and they received advice on how to write a good CV, how to be well prepared for an interview, how to build an effective network etc.
