Adecco is currently seeking, on behalf of its client, a large organization in Cyprus, for a dynamic professional to cover the following position:
Neurologist
Job Description
• Examine and diagnose neurological diseases
• Order and study the results of para-clinical studies to determine the nature and extent of the diseases
• Consult with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment
• Advise patients to contact other medical specialist, as indicated
• Admit patients to the ward for further investigation and medical care
• Carry out the research funded by the institute and by outside sources, aided by his/her scientific staff
• Seek external sources of funding and submit the approved applications to the appropriate funding bodies
• Make his/her own plans for publication and include as co-authors those of his/her staff that have worked on the project
• Train, supervise, coordinate staff and prioritize departmental activities in order to ensure the provision of efficient, high quality, and timely services
• Carry out specialist clinics and laboratory sessions (neurophysiology, neuropathology, and neurovascular)
Candidate Profile
• An MD degree with a sub specialty in Neurology
• Able to move permanently to Cyprus
• Recognized board certification in Neurology
• License or eligible for license from the Pancyprian Medical Association
• Command of the Greek and English languages
• Command of the Greek and English languages
• Communication and Decision making skills
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures
• Time management and Counseling skills
• Report writing and Supervisory skills
