Senior Combat System Functional Integrator Engineer

Adecco is currently seeking on behalf of its client, NAVAL GROUP HELLAS, a subsidiary of NAVAL GROUP, an industry leading company, which designs, builds and supports submarines and surface ships for navies around the world, for a dynamic professional to cover the following position:
Senior Combat System Functional Integrator Engineer
Job Description
• Providing military navy crews with Combat System training and Integration activities onboard ships under construction or maintenance
• Verification and Validation (IVV) process of the Hellenic frigate (FDI) Combat System
• Training management: definition of training scope, course schedule
• Proofreading and update of the Combat System training courses
• Training courses: provision of Combat System courses
• IVVQ activities management: planning, need of tools etc.
• Test the updated issue of software (new functionalities, non-regression)
• Investigate the technical defects, verify the correction of bugs and full conservation of the previous functionalities
• Perform Combat System tests (harbour tests and Sea trials) after checking functional and physical interface conditions and validate Client requirements
• Know the Combat System operational use, ability to conduct operational equipment settings
Candidate Profile
• Bachelor Electrical Engineering, ICT or any other related discipline
• Master’s degree will be considered a plus
• Experience as an Engineer with on-board equipment specialty
• Greek: native language; English: fluent; French: nice to have but not mandatory
• Experience in system integration
• Experience in on-board equipment integration
• Knowledge on Combat System architecture and operational use
• Experience in Combat System operational use or Combat System functional integration activity
• Microsoft office applications & Linux command
• Ability for navigation (sea trials)
• Flexibility to travel in France for missions
