Import Department - Sales / Marketing
Job description
•Oversee efficient working of import department and manage all communication with customers and vendors.
• Develop new business and handle existing clientele.
• Monitoring rate levels and cooperate with Agents and Carriers to obtain best offers.
• Correspondence with internal and international teams and third-party agents to ensure that shipments are planned and completed efficiently, timely, and smoothly (Customers / Shipping Lines / Agents / Customs Brokers / Operators).
• Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty; maximize shipment profitability, decrease operating expenses.
Candidate profile
• University degree in Shipping, Sales/Marketing would be preferable
• Experience in import - export company 1-4 years
• Container Import, in-depth understanding of international terms (incoterms)
• Import Customs Procedures
• Working in freight forwarding Company will be an asset
• Excellent command in both oral and written in English
• Excellent knowledge in MS Office & ERP
• Small existing clientele will be considered as an asset.
