Health & Safety Specialist

Adecco is currently seeking, on behalf of its client, a multinational manufacturing company in the consumer goods industry for a dynamic professional to cover the following position based in Ritsona (municipality of Avlida):
The job holder will report to the Health and Safety Supervisor and to the Plant Manager.
Job Description
•Implement and develop Health and Safety and Environmental initiatives in order to comply with local legislation & the Group’s standards
•Develop and deliver training of colleagues on Environmental, Health & Safety practices
•Support departmental managers in implementing improvement initiatives
•Responsible for the management systems ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018
•Ensure compliance to Group Health & Safety policies and standards
Candidate Profile
• Master’s or Diploma (Technical University) or Bachelor’s Degree (TEI) in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• One (1) to three (3) years of working experience in a job role with similar job accountabilities either from a well-organized manufacturing environment or from an EXYPP services company
•Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English language (for verbal and written communication)
•MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
•Very good analytical and organizational skills
•Team spirit person, with flexible and influential communication interacting cross-functional and cross-level colleagues
•Structured personality with a good reasoning thinking able to take decisions within a fast-paced working environment
