Purchasing Manager
Job description
- Ensure goods at the most competitive prices and on time delivered, according to company standards
- Stock management in Greece and Cyprus
- Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers and align them to company’s needs
- Identify new suppliers, negotiate contracts (discount policies etc.)
- On site supplier visits under short notice
- Regular reviews of the purchasing functions, improvement and cost reduction
- Management of the Purchasing Dept. in Greece and Cyprus
- Close cooperation with the associated departments (Production, Technical, Financial etc.)
- Support Regional and Global headquarters according to their requirements for Greece and Cyprus
Candidate Profile
- BA in Supply chain management, Operations, Engineering or relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years working experience as Head of Purchasing in a multinational company
- Proven experience in SAP use
- Working knowledge of logistics and inventory software
- Excellent command of English
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Frequent travel availability
