Recoveries Advisor - Collections Department
(Maternity Cover)
Job Description
• Effectively deliver the Legal Collections & Recoveries policies & procedures
• Be able to manage complex debt management cases
• Support the customers to continue servicing the debt by providing the appropriate restructuring tools as per policy
• Liaise with 3rd party Legal Vendors (e.g. Lawyers / Bailiffs) to ensure that the documentation process is complete
• Build trust and enhance engagement with the customers in delinquency
• Be able to apply controls to manage associated business risks
• Effectively escalate customer queries, requests and complaints
Candidate Profile
• Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Prior experience in Collections or Recoveries (min 2-3 years)
• Working experience across other levels within a debt management industry to understand synergies and strategies would be considered an asset
• Basic knowledge of Banking Laws and Rules and Local Regulation that have a direct impact on Collection & Recoveries policy
• Excellent command of the English language
• Outstanding verbal communication and time management skills
• Analytical and negotiation skills
• Ability to prioritize workload in a high-volume environment
