Adecco is currently seeking, on behalf of its client, a leading multinational FCMG company, for a dynamic professional to cover the following position based in Athens:
Configuration Leader
The job holder will be responsible to assist in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Implementation and lead day-to-day activities related to data quality and data integration.
Job Description
•Chairs the meetings with the stakeholders to discuss the Data integration sources
•Manages the Data integration with other tools
•Leads the daily meetings with the Discovery team to discuss any issues
•Manages day-to-day meetings with the vendors
•Demonstrates understanding of the system/product lifecycle and phases and challenges associated with system engineering in a delivery focused, commercially successful organization
•Responsible for developing and maintaining Configuration management process and policies/work instructions
•Responsible for creation of the Configuration management plan/ Technical design plan
•Identity Configuration Management (CM) requirements that cover the system, hardware, software, and data/info requirements
•Manages and delivers the Configuration Management (CM) requirements against the overall CM plan
•Tracking compliance to policies and procedures and resolving / escalating any compliance issues
•Facilitates Configuration Management audits
•Facilitates communication and engages business and IT management to encourage configuration management efforts and value proposition
•Reviews and published configuration reporting
•Maintains data quality, integrity, and security of Configuration Management database
•Assists in development, management, maintenance, enhancement, and automation of Configuration Management tools.
•Oversees the delivery of software applications in test and deployment environments
•Analyzes configuration issues and proposes appropriate resolutions.
•Participates in the Change management reviews
Candidate Profile
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering/ Informatics/Information Technology Systems
•Certification in ITIL version 4
•Proven working experience in ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
•Three (3) to six (6) years of relevant working experience in a similar job role within a well-structured IT department of a Big organisation or an IT Management consulting company
•Proven track record in data integration and Discovery tools
•Excellent communication skills
•Strong collaboration and team-working skills for working across multi-functional teams and businesses dealing with software and hardware products
•Achievement drive and results orientation
•Excellent knowledge of the English language (verbal and written)
•Knowledge in Asset management would be considered as an asset
•EU Citizen, preferably willing to relocate in Athens
•Flexibility for business travelling (10% of working time)
