Business Finance Analyst (1 - year contract)
Job Description
•Support the design of the Annual Business Plan (OP), Strategic Plan (LRF), and Forecasts. Partner with all relevant stakeholders to ensure timely submission of all deliverables
•Provide analysis, interpretation and commentary on variances of actual results against budget and forecasts
•Identify any risks and opportunities while monitoring variances and trends
•Prepare financial performance presentations for Business Reviews and other events
•Partner with Corporate reporting & Accounting to support Month end/Quarter & Annual Closing process
•Communicate and interact effectively with colleagues in all departments, to ensure the smooth operation of the planning and reporting process
•Actively participate in the audit process (both internal and external)
•Prepare Ad-hoc reporting
Candidate Profile
•Bachelor’s degree in related field; postgraduate degree in Finance is strongly desirable
•Three (3) to five (5) years directly relevant experience, including reporting, analysis, planning, budgeting, forecasting, commentary, and financial modeling
•Experience in a multinational company will be considered an asset
•Good understanding of accounting principles
•Fluency in Greek and English
•Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint user
•Knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies
•Ability to multitask and operate under strict deadlines
•Very good communication skills
•Be able to address a wide variety of audiences
•Be efficient in presenting complex financial information in a compelling way
