ENISA Finance Assistant (6+ months Interim Agent)

Adecco on behalf of ENISA, the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity and the center of expertise for cyber security in Europe, is seeking to recruit a highly driven candidate for the following position based in Athens. 
Finance Assistant
(6+ months Interim Agent)

Introduction
The successful candidate will provide support with the financial services by ensuring high quality, accuracy and consistency of work. The Finance Assistant promotes a client-oriented approach consistent with EU Financial Regulation and ENISA’s financial rules. The Finance Assistant will report to the Head of Policy Office (PO) within the Core Operations Department (COD). 
Job description
•    Assist with the registration and administration of incoming invoices, reimbursement requests, and cost claims in the European Commission’s financial system (ABAC);
•    Provide support with initiating financial transactions (commitments, payments, mission claims, recovery orders, de-commitments) related to operational expenditure of the Agency;
•    Follow-up on the financial implementation of commitments, preparation of de-commitments and ensure timely closure of administrative commitments;
•    Follow-up on the budget lines allocated to Policy Office (PO) and the budget performance;
•    Provide support with the preparation, planning, reporting, forecast and follow up on budgets and financial matters;
•    Liaise with external providers on any financial aspects;
•    Take on additional tasks as required in the interest of the service.
Candidate Profile
•    A level of relevant post-secondary education attested by diploma ; or 
•    A level of relevant secondary education attested to by a diploma giving access to relevant post-secondary education, and appropriate professional experience  of at least three (3) years;
•    In addition to the above, at least three (3) years of appropriate and proven professional experience gained after obtaining the diploma;
•    Experience in public procurement is an advantage but not required;
•    Experience from international working environment would be desirable.
•    Be a national of one of the Member States of the European Union
•    English is the working language of ENISA. For the position, fluency in oral and written English is required.
