Procurement Specialist (Thessaloniki)
Job Description

•    Prepares procurement documents and provides advice on the correct procurement procedures and types of contracts
•    Contributes to the development and the correct application of Zenith procurement and contract management procedures
•    Prepares and processes documents for the Vendor Qualification process
•    Prepares and processes negotiated, restricted and open tender procedures including preparation, evaluation, verification and analysis 
•    Drafts the tender specifications, assists the Evaluation Committees, replys to tenderers’ enquiries, provides legal and procedural advice during all stages of procurement procedures
•    Monitors and checks contracts implementation, supports the contract management and initiates the necessary steps for the contract renewal or other amendments
•    Promotes the best practices, sound financial management and knowledge-sharing in the field of procurement and contract management
•    Contributes to drafting of annual procurement plan, monitors and reports on its implementation under the supervision of the direct supervisor
•    Liaises with Finance Sector and other relevant stakeholders for matters related to contractors’ payments
Candidate Profile
•    At least 3 years of professional experience, preparing call for tender documents; drafting contracts and preparing purchase orders
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration /Finance /Accounting or other business related field 
•    Advanced use of English language (both oral and written)
•    Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications and ERP
•    Very good knowledge of procurement rules and principles, obtained in public and/or private sector 
•    Hands on experience within multinational companies, EU Commission, Public Procurement will be considered an asset 
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, focusing in the establishment of long-term relationships with customers and vendors
•    Strong service-oriented attitude
